Large Reptiles as pets

Hi all
Found this while surfing the net thought you would like it.
Does any one have any large reptiles as pets, maybe not this large but interesting anyway.

This is the info on this persons pet

Fluffy is one of the largest reticulated pythons held in captivity that is not living in a zoo. She was raised by Bob Clark. Bob Clark is a herpetologist from Oklahoma that works in the field of herpetoculture. Herpetoculture is the raising and breeding of reptiles and amphibians. Fluffy was born in captivity and is thirteen years old. She has reached a length of 24 feet and a weight of 310 pounds.

Jokes about roos in my freezer aside... can someone tell me what a reticulated python is? Like - aren't some aussie pythons reticulated? or am I thinking of something different... I took a quick look on the net and it said that retics were colourations - is it nothing to do with it's turning ability??? Silly question maybe... but one I know not!
