You dont need to be giving your python huge meals now just because its big enough for them. A lot of my adult pythons get by on medium rats all year round and still breed for me.

I don't like to feed mine birds any more than every second meal, although that's probably more to do with my own whimsical decision making criteria than anything of any real substance.

Yeah if you can get rabbits they are good. Personally I don't like feeding rats after they reach about 250 grams as I think they are too fattyafter reaching this weight. Before I am belted into the middle of next week by members who disagree I must state that this is JMO.  |
