RE: legal food

Mick, do you mean, that they are too old to breed? If so, yes. Dave has been going thru boxes with old breeder males, and they prob haven't had any litters in those boxes for at least 2 mths if not more.

The one in the first avatar looked like more of a genuine person, rather than a posing picture thingo.

There would be a good constant supply of food that way !
A former member to this site did that. It is leagal providing the cats are humanely killed, but don't expect the neighbors to understand, expect heaps of heat from "animal lovers" and you may get a segment on "A Current Affair"

Fuscus that is hilarious... MICK GOT A CAT TRAP(from council) to catch the cats that were fighting outside our window... It took alot of tears to convince him not to feed it to our snake... I dont think he could do it... has anyone ever done it???

We have a cat trap, for feral cats that come in our cat door. they are usually dispatched humanely by Dave the next morning. Haven't got any snakes to feed em to.

RE: Re: RE: legal food

I think you wouldnt have to many probs as long as you dont let the cat out of the bag and tell people what you were doing .It is just a bit harder up here as you cant breed rabits as a large food item

I'm not sure if there are any in Australia and I'm sure importing them would be a real bastard

They'd have to be dead. No carpet - not even a scrubby - would be able to kill a live one. They roll into a ball so quick, and then they'd be uncrushable. Plus, the damage those claws would do to a snake.......

But, of course, you already knew this. You just threw the question out there to show off

You could always try and get them onto armadillos, then wean them onto pangolins through scenting.
