Anyone got a more accurate time on the NSW license wait for postage? anyone who's done it fairly recently?? |

I did snail mail & it was posted 8th Jan , I rang about it on 23rd Jan & was told they're 6 weeks behind . The next day money had been taken from my account from them , so it must be in the process. I rang them the following week as still nothing in the mail & they gave me my licence number over the phone . The following week it turned up in the mail .
My licence is dated 28th January , so thats when it got processed. So NSW has a bit of a wait !!!!
So for me it took from the 8th Jan - didn't recieve it back in the mail until the 1st week of Feb.
My import permit took about 2 1/2 weeks to get also & that was faxed through !
Just ring them if it's taking too long & get your number over the phone !

Good luck ! | You still cant Purchase anything with your License No. you have to have the License in your Possesion to be able to buy. I wanted to do that to but the DSE told me its illegal to purchase without the License in your hand as it requires your signature and my breeder told me the same thing, he wasnt allowed to sell anything to me untill i had my License in my possesion with my signature on the back!

They were more than willing to give me my number over the phone as it was all processed & paid for. Thats what they told me .
I had plenty of time anyway , as I was buying interstate & my numbers just got the paperwork sorted .
When the freight was organised I had received my hard copies of both reptile licence & import one. |

Maybe the more experienced guys on here can add to this . |

Dunmovin -Thats how i think of it as well
a mate of mine said that some breeders do sell with just your license number and some other stuff? not sure if this is true or not. or you just have to be a regular with a certain breeder < is that true?
