Hey all.
Just a quick one.
Is it necessary to have constant heat/light?
i have the tank set up as shown and i have one of those light timers, Is there anything wrong with setting the light to come on and off suring the day (2hrs on, 1 off) The tank retains it's heat rather well, but is it necessary to have it on all/most of the day?
Cheers.

Not as long as the temperature is right, almost all my heating (except UV lights) goes on and off frequently due to the thermostats.
