lose skin

hey peoples im a little worried about monty as his skin is looking a little lose in certain parts at first i thought it might have been a sign of a shed coming on but its not as if its comming off more so that its like a file snakes skin and i think it might be the fact that i gave him a very big meal 2 nights ago am i worrying for nothing can sumone please shed some light on the situation please

They often look like that 3 or 4 days before a shed.

Hey jimmy, sometimes when i give my stimmie a big meal and she digests it her skin goes baggy in some areas.

ok thanx both of u i was just a little stressed when i first saw it i thought it might of been burn cause the light was burnt out this morning but i dont think he could of blown the light

so jimmy, how much did you give monty? the same thing happended to my female, her scales looked like they were raised of her body, then 2 days later she shed so I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

well the first one was fine but with the second one he bit it rapped around it then just sat there for 15 mins but i left him alone for about 20 mins and when i came back it was gone i think its possible he might be nearly readdy for a shed as his skin is looking a fair bit darker but he has still got quite an appitite so if he is still eating dose it mean he will not shed or is he just the kind of snake that will eat during shed

some are known to eat during shedding too
