Making an enclosure...

I have a beardie and am hopefully going to get another one within 12 months to breed, I need a bigger enclosure for when I have two.

I am going to make one, I was thinking just a rectangle box with a pine frame and supporting beams and some pieces of thin ply for the sides.

Can anyone offer some ideas for design and types of wood to use? I am only fifteen so I want the most cost effective way, so the cheapest wood.

I don't know much about this type of thing, so just offer a few ideas for me, Thanks.

find one of your friends who works at a mill they should be able to get you wood for free. trust me. previously that was how i got cages for my rats.

go to a bunnings or a hardware shop in your area, u should just be able to find some cheap melamine or thin ply. put some paint on it and it will look good, and for the front some glass from a scrap yard or something shouldn't cost to much, find the piece of glass first and build around it as it is easier to cut wood than glass.

Find an old second hand cupboard and convert that easy and cheap

try the wiki, i found a helpful guideline in tips and tricks on how to make a good enclosure, and i just started working at bunnings lol so i found out there are alot of other cheap woods and things like that which u could benefit if not, i like dragons75 idea it sounds good

i just started register at harbour town so i can get 2 no all the products lol. actually, my first long shift was today and i saw things i had no idea about hehe
