Olives normally breed in July. As to their night time temps, I just checked my main room and all my cages are at 14c at the present time. My day time temps are set at 22c. All my snakes are desperately waiting for the sunrise at the moment so they can warm their butts |

i have bhp's going at it at the moment spotties and jungles go together mid july.
i do nothing with temps or lights, just turn em off when it starts to cool and watch for the first male movement after wintering and turn em back on,they wake up when they are ready.soon as they do in the males go regardless of whether the females are moving or not.it's easy to do it up in the far north with fairly constant temps.i don't envy you guys down south, alot more work and knowledge needed by you guys to be successful.

Couldn't agree more. Olives can be very funny to breed at times. As you said you can do everything correct and still fail. I would say they are just as hard as BHP's to breed. The other species are easy compared to these 2.
Just one tip to any future Olive breeders. If you do have a sucsessful mating, never change the compatable pair that you succeded with
