Things like Ackies and Pygmy Mulga's love their heat, so it will be a much better all round enclosure.

If you like the look of melamine use that instead .... |

you should get the right info... i rang Bunnings here in S.A...they had no idea,if i did what they advised i would be replacing another tank within 6 mnths ...costly mistake!
sorry i cant remember what exactly i used...3 coats of 1 & 2 coats of another, plus edge sealant
coated a 6ft long 2 ft deep mdf ...18" around the bottom ...cost around $80... with enough left for a 4ft as well |

i use a flexible gap sealant to do the inside joins, then coat the whole lot with a primer/sealer...
then do the insides with dulux aquanamel (high humidity moisture tollerant) and the outsides with Wattyl Stone Effect...
All up i bought 10 litres of paint that cost me about $120...
i have painted 3 large (3x4x2) and 2 smaller (3x2x2) and have heaps still left over....
could probably still paint another 3 big ones!
