Mealworms

G,day just wondering at what age pepoles beardys were when they started to feed them on these ?cheers dave

I only feed them the soft white ones when they are really small.

i feed all my beardies/bluetongues and shingles with mealies from time to time. and start beardies of at about 4 weeks. for baby beardies i cut the meal worms in half so they are not to big.

I don't bother with them at all and just breed roaches. Easy and cheaper.

Mealworms are just trouble IMO. The hard exoskeleton is difficult to digest and can cause real problems. If you do use them, try and stick with the soft white ones. They are the ones that have just moulted and their exoskeleton stays white until it hardens up.

I also believe that they have a poor nutritional content.

We feed them to hatchies that are 3 months old. With no problems.
