the way i figure it, if i can price it myself for more than $500 less than my best quote, then i'll give it a try...
(including buying drills etc)

only thing i have going for me is my GFs uncle is a glazier

HMR just indicates it's moisture resistant. I'm in Port Macquarie and Bunnings here has 2400 x 1200 x 16mm sheets of white melamine coated HMR particleboard for $35/sheet. If the particleboard is greenish it is HMR.

i've only had one made from the stuff at bunnings it doesn't seem to bad just DON'T get it cut there, i didn't have the tools to do it so i paid to have it done and i don't think any of the cuts were what i asked for, leaving the enclosure i now have a little less than perfect.

Yep Melboard in Hallam is a great place to go...they will cut it to the dimensions you require.
Bought alot of Melamine from them...good people to deal with
