Mice to rats??

I've just bought a little diamond python and from what I know its been feed pink pice and fuzzy mice by the breeder and she isn't likeing the pinkie rats I'm trying to feed her was thinking about trying to scent the pinkie with a mouse seeing she had already taken to that just wanted to get some feedback or ideas on that?

use fresh mouse blood or fresh used mice sub-straight. some times a defrosted mouse will do but fresh is best.

thanks trueblue, it worked got some mice and put them in a tub with some breathing holes and put them in the sun for a minute which makes them sweat like crazy and then took them out put the pinkie in the tub for a few seconds, then picked the pinkie up and but it near the hatchie and she took really well to it.
