Monitor bite first aid?

No i havnt been bitten, Im just wondering if theres anthing that could be done if im stupid/careless enough to get bitten by a monitor apart from standard first aid for a laceration?

Is there anyway to reduce the effects of their venom and/or bacteria in their mouths, like would it be possible to wash it out of the wound or neutralise it somehow?

If anyone has any pics of wounds or scars could you please post them too.

Have you been spying on me PeterJ?
Nah, it's just good allround stuff, stings like hell, but it's what they use on me when I manage to cut bits and pieces off at various times.

Me too they just chew and chew and hol on damn tight

I just put betadine (sp) on the cuts and put a band-aid on it to stop dirt getting in it ..... Just basic first aid
