4 to 6 foot x2x2 is ample for a pr or trio of ridgeys,and as has been said the smaller monitors are way better to start with,u will find there alot more manageable and its easier to provide all there needs,lots of people breed ridgeys as well,dont rule out gillens either,there cool little monitors and do great in small groups

gillens,lacies,ridgeys,storrs and mertons in that order,recently got 3 sandy juvies as well but there set up in a large tub with deep sand to burrow in at the moment till they get some size

i want to keep komodo dragons. Is their poop too strong to put on my roses if i feed them goats and photographers?

t started with sandys and they were a great starter but yes they do live out in an aviery 12+12 but it looks wicked if you have the room

lol this is a old thread he is still the same size but thay can grow to 38cm TL he is a great little monitor he thinks he is big though.
