Talking "Monty Python alive and well in Melbourne?"

'The Life of Brian Barnett - 50 years of herpetoculture in Australia'
In the 1950's few Aussie herps were kept, few were bred, and little was known.
In half a century herping has come a long way and Brian Barnett has been living and breathing herpetoculture every day for the last 50 years.
He is a true pioneer. This 'not to be missed' evening is a rare opportunity to experience Australian Herp History first hand.
Come along, learn and help celebrate "The Life of Brian Barnett"

Who: All are welcome! - family friendly
Where: Monash University Clayton Campus
When: June 29 - Starting 7PM sharp!
Cost: VHS members free, Others $5 per head
Light supper and refreshments provided

You have got it.

Even though the announcement has just gone up I know that some of Australia's most renowned herpers are traveling from far and wide to attend.

This will indeed be quite a special event, something that will remain in the mind of those whose who make the effort to attend for the rest of their lives!

Count me in Judy,
I will definitely be there to witness the legends great night.
Brian Barnett the original and still the best in the business (but not when he is grumpy)

Hi dragon tail, the VHS commitee members would be able to answer that question better. I do know Mike Swan usually has a display of his books for sale, and other Herp related products from the Herpshop are there to buy. There may be animals in the auction?

All I can say is with Brian Barnett being there giving his presentation along with his excellent photos I believe that is all most people will be happy to see and hear! That is why most of the 'big name herpers' will be there.

Again go to the VHS website and get in contact with one of their members for more info.

Cheers, Judy

I wish I could get down there for that, I first met Brian about 20 years ago, time really does fly.
