Depends on the individuals. There is a case reported in the latest Reptiles Australia magazine where 2 M. S. Variegata were housed together, one ate it's cage mate and later died.
Having said that I have housed pairs of Olives and Bredli together for a few years without issue. Our childreni had to be separated because the male was stressing the female.
There are really 2 main concerns with housing them together, the first is one coming on the menu and the second is one of them becoming dominant. There are no reports of combat in wild diamonds but that only tells half the story. If one intimidates the other then you may have one of them not thermoregulating properly which is a concern especially for Diamonds.

G'day mate,
They can be housed together, and plenty of people do it. However, occassionally one of the cage mates gets a little hungry and his best mate looks really tasty...

Hi mate
The other posters will have more experience than myself, but I have had my 2 diamonds together for the 2.5yrs that I have had them and no problems at all. Just remember to seperate for feeding and feed both of them at the same time..........
