To answer the original question, if the female mated with both males, each young will have only one father as only one sperm will fertialize the egg. Proberly all the young will have the same father but there are not certainites here. Some males snakes insert a 'sperm plug" into the female to prevent other males from mating but I don't think this happens in pythons.

i read some where that males don't combat for the female one male will be mating with the female while the other waits his turn near by but it could be wrong

I was going to offer some advice but it appears that Matty has decided to hijack this thread to complain and start some etttiquette lessons.
With the glorius out of seaaon weather we're having in Sydney I was thrilled to see the guys and gals in a tangle on the avairy floor this afternoon.
If both males come from the same parents then the genetic ibformation would be extremely close. If they come from different fathers then you will have a good degree of variation.
The thing is though. If you have offspring that are sired by both you wont have a clue whos who anyway.
