have you read the link Fuscus left there ! I was told similar things about doing it and then found out the laws have a read of my thread
i mean its up to you but it is illegal and not safe for the snakes

well just for future send via australian air express much safer and more commonly used than express post i would say.

Well, I too have been worrying about the transport of that little Diamond, after I red the post last night, but didn’t particularly want to stress spottedpython any more, as the snake was already on the way.
Just let as know, as soon as you have her in your hands and that everything is well.

Well anyway however you get it I hope it is ok and you enjoy your new pet.PS I had a pair of maccies sent express 2 years ago in a video caes labelled "don't leave in sun LIVE REPTILES" and when the guy turned up at 4 pm they had been sitting on his dash all day and he walked up to the door shaking the parcel saying "what is it"....... Jesus I nearly killed the idiot,anyway they were ok but now Australian Air Express is the ONLY way to go!!!!!

I can imagine a guy like that, holding a parcel marked "BOMB", saying "what is it?" Shake shake. Never trust anything you want to arrive "as is" to australia post. If it says "Fragile", they get taught at postal school to throw it as hard as possible.
