My new boydii

Here's a shot of one of my new boydii and a shot of their current setup. They're so cute!

I don't know how I'm going to name them... they look identical to me at this point.

They sure are

I think they're class 2 in NSW, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm in Queensland, so.... maybe someone from NSW can answer that for you, more certainly.

Thanks blakeblake

I'm not even going to try handling them at this point, they're so tiny! I picked up one to put it into its new home, the other one bounced out of the container it was brought home in

I'll leave them until they're a bit bigger and less frail before I try to handle them. I'm told they don't handle well, so I don't expect to be able to handle them much even when they are bigger.

They are just one of those lizards that seem to prefer being left alone and admired from afar.
One thing I would suggest is that you put in some vertical branches for them rather than at a 45 degree angle.

lol blakeblake. They sound like fun

Thanks boa & scorps, I'll find some more that are of an appropriate size to wedge in vertically. I much appreciate any and all advice :-)

The fake plant in the right does have a vertical limb, the other two limbs I bent to separate them and give them a bit more climbing space. But yes, I'll be on the hunt for some more vertical branches :-)

Good stuff, aspidites. I wouldn't mind Boyds some time in the future, i find them quite fascinating. I have even more interest in them since observing them in the wild over X-mas.

Thanks, serpenttongue & GraftonChic :-)

I was thinking about a background myself, GraftonChic.... I think I might have to grab one from the pet shop ;-)

In regards to the upright sticks, I've found that dispite having multiple vertical perching sites in their enclosure, the adults prefer to rest on horizontal branches with all four legs dangling over the sides! They only use the verticle branches to get to the horizontal ones LMAO!!

Sounds like completely vertical branches aren't necessary then. Thanks Saz
