Well, it's been finsihed a little while now , but haven't been online for sometime , so here it is , houses the following ....centre sections have 2 BHP's [ male in bottom / female in top ].......Diamonds on left section , other end [ right ] is a large pair of intergrades .............cage details - overall length is 2400 by 600 deep by 1200 high , each end section is 600 x 600 x 1200 high , centres are 1200 by 600 by 600.......oh and underneath is a storage area for supplies .......opinions anyone ??
quote -hornet is it just me or is over 2m far to big for under 2yrs with that bhp??
Hornet, i can't say what is too big or too small, but both BHP's are fed once a fortnight [ 2 large rats each ] ....and as everyone can attest , BHP'd are gluttons when feeding , no doubt they and others could eat what ever you wanted to give them ...........does this mean i over feed them ?.....doubt it or is it that smaller ones aren't fed enough ..........have seen pics on this site of one that was 3 metres long and 4 years old ....................any comments ??
Oh forgot to add HORNEt , that we all seem to foget that BHP's when hatched can be around 600 - 700 mm long when out of the gg, so by my figures , it's only grown just over 1300/1400 in that time
