Lightbulb My Rat Defrosting Invention

This works well all you need is one large ice cream container and a stanley knife. Cut one round hole for the water to enter from the tap and one long slit for the sealy bag to slip though.
I thought of this idea because i wanted to completely submerge my rats in warm water I hated that they would float and the rat would be warm on one side and cold on the other.
hope you like. I've nick named it the defrostinator2000. I have attached some pics to show you how i do it and as you can see its also sucks the air out around the rats.

the best ideas are ones where you think "now why didn't I think of that"

now why didn't I think of that

Fantastic, I'm forever fighing with the bags to get them submerged. Better go eat a tub of icecream and get to work.

Great idea!!

Cool, I just poke holes in the lid of a small plastic container and put the mouse in a freezer bag and fill it with hot water then put the lid on.

I just put a weight on top of the rats & mice to submerge them.

Great idea - I use my tongs to hold the rats under water but if you had a small number of snakes your invention would work a treat. Pity you have to throw out 4 liters of icecream everytime you want to defrost a rat

Good Idea.....BUT......!!!

We are on water restrictions..... Do you leave the water running???

C'mon...Do your bit and reduce your water consumption.....

As said...I am assuming you do leave the water running......
