And are they likely to allow Strophurus intermedius under the heading "spiny tail gecko""? |

| | | | intermedius and ciliaris have been regarded as separate species for a long time, so if they don't have intermedius on the list then I would think they won't allow it regardless of them being placed in a new genus. |
