its hard to tell from your pic but as long as its a tight fit they dont mind. i set them up so that there backs touch the top board when there under it.

as long as they are eating and basking there ok. theres nothing wrong with the way your are. i have found them to work better this way. my stacks in the ackie cage are made of 9mm ply and the legs are 16mm ply. i have to make it higher soon as the ackies are starting to lift the stack up trying to get under. hope this helps

most monitor do. storrs, tristis, gillans,ackies kingrom all of the small monitors just about do.
