Hey guys

Recently bought a second hand tank off a mate of mine!! really excited, ive moved in my ackies, my murray darling ( farrah ) and............

I bought myself a tully jungle!!!

he/she is just gorgeous, my first decent sized snake and im so excited, my murray darling is pretty calm and small and has never really threatened me..

ok well here are some pics, hope you enjoy and please tell me what you think and make any suggestions you want!

Very nice Jungle, post pics when it tags you (and it will)... lol.
Its good that your Murray Darling is placid, because in a couple of years your MD will over take the Jungle in size. You have a great start to your collection, bet you cant stop a 2.
Next it will be a Bredli then a Olive, a BHP, a Stimmie, a Diamond.
Its a sickness and most of us on this site have it.
Cheers Andy.

Do your lights have covers on them? I'm paranoid and I would add those personally.
Otherwise not bad.

Very nice. We have bought a jungle too. Picking her up on Saturday. I love the enclosure. Andy is quite right, it is a sickness & there is NO CURE LOL!

ah ok cool

yeah fluro needs a cage, its still coming, but the light doesnt get hot enough to burn the snake, so its ok for now.... yeah i havent been taged at all yet, from any of my pets except for my rats, so i think the jungle is going to change that...

Sure is, Tully is on the coast between Cairns and Townsville, they claim to be the wettest town in Australia, it is also home of the big gumboot!

never put light covers over lights with monitors ! snakes yes monitors NO i speak from experience as i once owned a hatchie lace monitor and 10 hours after i got it it was dead it had squeezed into the light cover and couldnt get out yes the gap was so small i didnt even see it . i previously had ackies in there and they didnt get in.......so you are better of having the light cover off and just putting the light higher so they dont burn them selves.

man so sorry tohear that, really sad story yeah i dont put a cover on the ackies...

the jungle snapped at me today, my mate was holding and i put my arm near it, and it headbutted me with its mouth open.... hehehe iwas wrapped! lol

im learning that it enjoys being handled and lets me know that it has enough when it starts to constrict my arm...

Perhaps a 6/12 month quarrantine period? You really should keep new arrivals seperate. Ie sepeate rooms, tools etc etc.
Looks like a nice snake!
