non-toxic sealant.

i have made a water dish out of polystyrene coated in grout.
i now need to seal it so that it is water tight. i am looking for a clear sealant that will be safe so that my snake can drink from and bathe in the dish, any suggestions?

Sperm from the Nicaraguan Mountain Salamandor mixed with the embryo of an Arctic Tree Frog. Failing that, any number of comercial sealants, as long as allowed air for aday or two.

I think Pondtite comes in clear and it is nontoxic. You can get it from Bunnings.

At our local Bunnings it isn't. It is right down the end past the wood, mdf etc with a heap of other types of water sealers. (Obviously your bunnings may be different)

You can use Bondall Pondtite

http://www.bondall.com/ProductsWaterproofers.htm

or crommelin
