north western python ( dawins ) info anyone?

Hey Everyone!

Just joined up to this site..seems cool !

I have to Amazing natured Darwin Pythons,, A male and female ( hope 2 breed )

They have giving me no real trouble but just wanting to know some tips or hits from other owners on anything about these pythons!?
Anything from that you have come across from owning these great pythons such as
Feeding tips
keeping them happy
keeping the tank the right temp n hum
just anything to keep them happy and heathly or any other things any owners/ breeders have found out from keeping these pythons!

p.s everyone thinks these guys are a very aggressive python..mine have never shown any sign or biten me or anyone that has handled them~! does anyone own a biter ???

hey mate we have heard that darwins tend to be aggressive but we have a male and female and they are the most placid snakes in our collection. our three year old loves our bigger female and handles her with no probs and she isnt the most gentle child. weve found that ours love to come out of their enclosures so much thet they thrash about when trying to put them back in. so we have to coil them up put them in and quickly close the door before they pop their heads out sometimes takes two or three attempts. they are easy to care for a fat rat or small rabbit once a week temp at 30 a branch for climbing fresh water a hide they are happy

I head that Darwins only grow to be thin is this true of do they fatten up?
