Not keen on selling.. advice???

Just got told today that i could be mooving to Melb with work and dont really want to get rid of my olives but not sure how they would handle the cold down there..
Would be good to hear from someone who is keeping them in a cold climate as to see how they go, or weather i should get rid of them before i moove...
Any help would be great
cheers

If you're keeping them indoors you will have no problems.

Maybe a thermostat with day/night temp settings would be the go to maintain a certain temp at night

You should keep them heated during the night, except when breeding.

i think people forget how cold it gets at night in the desert... think frosts. As long as you heat during the day (coz melb does some odd stuff when its supposed to be summer) I would think they would be fine

Olives aren't particularly fond of desert habitats. Northern escarpments and scrub, yes. And yes your olives will be fine here in chilly melbourne with the right enclosures. There are plenty of people who regularly breed olives down here.

Cheers Rossco.
