NPWS Audits?

I am aware that National Parks can come over at any time and Audit your collections and bookwork. How often does this happen? What do they normally do if they do rock up? Do they just "rock up" without warning?
Thx

I've heard a few people say they have had them but don't know details. I'd assume it would be more likely to happen to people who have extensive collections with rare species that the rangers want to see.

So they don't have a routine where they visit every collection to check bookwork?

Someone on another Reptile site was asking about a snake they had acquired? Said they didn't have a license and were asking what they should do? Think they were in NSW and had bought the snake from someone I think?

RR - if that person was in SA, if so you don't need a license if you only have 1 reptile. But who can stop at one

If you only have 1 reptile here in SA, do you have to have the details of the seller? Whats to say you didn't take it from the wild?

You must be able to prove you legally obtained it. This includes excempt animals like sleepies and blueys
