moose its on the street opposite the market, not actually inside. queen street i believe it is. |

Did you think the Pet Store was equipped to sell reptiles? Did they give you Care Sheets or offer advice?
My son aka Shadow has this little Athertons Coastal. - well, that's what we call it. It's developed some clear patterns now, it was fairly uniform in colour before.
Here's a photo from today. |

| they didnt have any care sheets that i know of but i dont think they're too bad a store to buy from. HOWEVER, she is a bit constipated which seems to be resolving with a proper heat source, and she had a lump in her tummy which i originally thought was a food lump, but she ate 7 days before... . its already a lot smaller just after 2 days, but we just took her to the vet to check it out and he's a little concerned. we're going to feed her tonight and see what happens but we will be letting them know tomorrow that she's been checked out and that there could be a problem .
one interesting thing he also mentioned, when he saw that she was hypo he almost recoiled in horror lol. apparently he has seen a LOT of problems in hypo snakes...mainly skin related...which has ended up being their downfalls . i've never heard anything like this before, but then again i havent done a lot of research on hypomelanistic snakes. has anyone else heard of anything like this? |

I hope that your will stay light, but it is likely that colour will change Zoe. |

I've never seen an adult carpet that looked vaguely hypomelanistic (but of course that doesn't mean they don't exist). I would love to see pics of it every month or two (or however often you're prepared to post them) over the next few years, and I'm sure I'm not the only one!
Let's hope it grows into a stunner!

This is about as hypo as i've seen an adult coastal..not much of a looker but not much black at all...the dude isn't me...
