I'm blown away -Do vets reguarly let people treat their own animals with syringes? Here's the medicine, here's the syringe, this is where you inject it, off you go! What sort of treatment was it Phantom?

Ahh that explains it. Got a real good mate down here who has to do the same for his son. You'd well and truly be an old hand at it then. Just thought it was an unusal thing for a vet to let the client do that's all.

Moose, when a reptile needs a course of antibiotics, it is usual for the vet to get the owner to inject them.

Sorry, Phantom. I was being a dick.

They occupy most of the body cavity down to the vent. It just all elongated to fit in. And only one functional lung, to save space.

Oh okay then. I'm not familair with vet visits and I really don't know what goes on in this area (I suppose later down the track). My only other pet is a rabbit of all things and I'm only familar with him getting calicivirus shots LOL

That's what my vet does too. He showed me how to inject it, it's not really that hard.

yeah i have to stab my dog every 3 weeks with an allergy serum. as long as they show you exactly what to do before and how to inject it its pretty easy generally saying that, i've never injected a snake which i would imagine is harder than stabbing a dog lol especially with the amount of excess skin my dog has!
