hi here is a picture of my male, i am desperatly wanting a female if anyone knows were i can get one from a yearling or older

they are awsum i really like the pattern on the wild surat one........... tristis are one of my fav monitors ill be looking at getting some soon anyone got any pics of V. tristis orientalis from the kimberlys region?

thanks Jonne it took me a while to him now all i need is a female to match up with him this season, would you know were i might be able to find one

if it looks like scalaris than it means we can come across scalaris just north of NSW/QLD border
wow - thats interesting - though anything is possible :-), but it is definiately V. t. orientalis
- some pop of scalaris look quite similar , there is huge variation between specimens from diferent areas in tristis as well in scalaris
