Just an idea ....
What do you think of a shadehouse for outside air for pythons when the weather is warm ?
(Instead of an aviary ?)

Yeah, Simon brings up a good point...there are some shadecloths that block out UV...you would have to be sure to get shadecloth that doesn't. It does exist, i was looking at some last week.

A friend of mine keeps all his carpets in a shade house typeenvironment with natural logs and rocks everywhere and they seem to love it.No need to worry about providing heat , ventilation and lighting for the day length.
If you have a breeding pair to put in there you could basically leave em to rheir own devices to breed when the time comes. My mates do and he doesn't have to deal with si mulating day lenghts and temperatures.Almost like having them in wild conditions which is how a lot of people prefer to keep them.Good idea, are you gonna go ahead with it?

Slatey i get a few cruising up and down the log that cranky frank loves to hang out on.Every now and again you can see it's annoying so he goes down for a swim a washes them off.
I think the only prob is (well with mine) you must make sure that they eat their food source pretty much straight away other wise the ants will make it a meal for themselves.
Has happened to me once or twice.
Shadehouse sounds like a good idea aswell.
Waste of food.
But he loves it out there.Seems very happy.

Shadecloth comes with a blockout percentage the same as window tint.
