exo terra offer a decent range of netting like enclosures that let in all the uva/uvb and theyre tough with small netting so no toes are going to be lost from outside predators plus you can hang them to boot just lay a hide in the bottem and hang a branch up the middle

Birds usually only target hatchlings / young dragons that they can swallow, my adults sit on the wire of their avairy, their toes would be easy pickings but the birds won't take on the adults.

2 toilet rolls?? Ha thats crazy, i have not tried puttin one of those in there for them, might try it, they dont seem to want to use the hollow log i have in there for them as a hide, spend most of their time up in the branches. yeah my big guys live outside and sit right up next to the wire and never had problems with birds, but then again they are huge! i have been slack and still havent finished it yet, got that lovely flu which is going around, hopefully it will be done this week and ill post some pics, and maybe i will get enough sun up here to put them out!
