Yeah, he's talking about reptiles bred by the licensee.

On your license (NSW license) it says:
"9. The licensee shall not dispose of protected fauna within a period of six months from the date of its acquisition. This condition does not apply to fauna bred by the licensee."

slightly different subject but what is the deal with breeding loans? if there a time limit for those.

I think it's mainly to stop individuals from operating as a petshop, buying animals purely to sell for a profit.

I dont know what the fine is but you can forfeit your license.
Generally DSE will listen to why you need to dispose of the animal as long as you apply for permission first.
