I was in there the other day and forgive me but i dont remember what species they kept i think they had an adult female mac, thy had hatchlings of some sort but for the life of me i can't remember what they were... something with spots and i saw a handful of young bearded dragons. they also have crazy-looking stick insects, hermit crabs, scorpions etc.
They have a massive amount of fish selection though, so if you have a marine tank (and a fair bit of money) they have good quality fish, I would assume they had the same care for their reptiles. like i said earlier I find them a bit pricey, but they are just up the road from me so its convenient for a quick run to the store for food or whatever.
I haven't really found a good-priced store around here yet actually, maybe i'm hoping to high for cheaper products? maybe i just need to start making friends with the staff at Pet City |

I wasn't too fussed on Pet City. They have to be one of the most expensive around. Most of my purchases have been birds tho. Only recently went to Reptiles.

Nerang pet barn are definately a good start, i know where they get some of their hatchlings and they are an excellent quality, i bought mine from the breeder who supplies them and honestly would buy a snake from them in the future, they won't buy any snakes that are not feeding and have to shed 3 times. i have alot of friends who have bought children's and spotted from there that have never had a health problem.
There are a few shops that i don't wish to mention particular names but i have found they had particularly poor quality snakes, some where absolutely tiny and some sick, i haven't seen anyone mention their name anywhere so i'll bite my tongue on their name.

Mt Gravatt, I thought was fairly good. Got my enclosure and heating/lighting from there. People very helpful and lat time I went to look their hatchies seemed in pretty good condition. On top of the click-clacks there is "date last fed" and "date last shed" etc so they seem to care..
Westside Pets & Aquarium in Taringa, Brisbane is fairly good. I bought my Mac from there and've never had a problem, and last time I was there they had plenty of hatchies.

Pet City is OK, they have OK prices for a petshop and a great range of fish, i rescued some from them a few weeks ago.
