xander, i was going down to nerang today to look at the new batch. said a few weeks ago they were expecting to get some new snakes in. i was going to take a friend down who is looking at getting his first snake, prob a childrens. Anything in particular you noticed that i should look out for?

I have mentioned before that i bought my snake from a breeder who supplies them, i did not buy directly from the pet shop and i am extremely happy with my purchase, have had no health problems and have excellent temper, and feeds quite well. Nothing to say they haven't got their new batch from another breeder.

Any breeders you would recommend on the gold coast for childrens or macs?

ring robina pet barn and ask for thier supplier. his name is tony and he is pretty good. like i said before, check out coomra pet barn before you buy from a breeder, they look very healthy and happy. its just up the highway from the nerang one.

Hi Cobb, Tony Harrison is who bred the snake i got now, i personally recommend anything from him if he will sell to public. i quite often go to coomera for a look as it is local to my house, but often go to nerang when i'm in the area.

Ozzie python, sorry it wasnt so much the herps that were in poor condition,it was the birds.2 lolrikeets in there obviously had beak and feather disease and the cockatiels all had fluffed feathers and watery nares. My only concern there was for the pink tongue skinks who looked quite skinny(possibly not getting the correct diet)Having said all that I am a harsh critic of pet shops and I do tend to look for the worst of what I see in there instead of the positives.
