Spotted, He's adorable. But I think he has an unhealthy interest in macropods, don a furry coat Spot and come and meet us at Taronga Park Zoo. lol

Sherman they were great photos and the camera made me jealous. The night mode worked so well on that spider. You're a champ for catching the Baby Alligators looking at each other, But I notice more than 1 photo of you with the 'Roos. Hummm? Sherm, they were very pretty but you can do better. lol
Bryony looked very happy in front of the Iguanas, I had a totally different expression than she did. That male was a little too friendly although through glass - - But, I did get a liking for the female 1s.

Lol, Bryony had a fascination for the mechanical spider, she tried to look afraid but she looks way too happy! Our 1st plan was to somehow get her behind the fangs, hanging there - - but it moved. I'm sure I've seen a movie like that. lol
My photos are on Photo Page 2 on my link - not 112 of them! lol

Loved it.
Em

Some good ones / some bad ones, but animal photography is hard. For every decent photo I get I reckon I take another 99 which are throw away.

Reeelly like the green Iguana shots, http://aussiepythons.com/modules.php...view_photo.php that shading looks speccy

Also whats this guy?

All things considered you’ve done well
As you’ve probably worked out it’s very difficult shooting captives behind glass, especially with the setups they have at ARP. The main problems are lighting that is both coloured and contrasty, this effects the exposure metering and the glass itself upsets the auto focus system. You need to really have the ability to switch to full manual exposure and focus overcome these. Flash is an option (if it’s allowed) but then you need to be aware of flash reflection off the glass as well.
#1 rule - focus on the eyes, sharp eyes turn a good animal pic great.

Oh and the you and roo photo.
Touching a roo on the back of neck + squatting + knees apart = high chance your family jewels will soon be located in the general area of your wisdom teeth. Would advise not to touch a roo on the back of the neck (they really, hate it) unless of course someone is videotaping for “when animals attack”.
