u'd be suprised how well they burn plastic.. and if u didnt want to use them to make the hole.. just heat up the plastic wif the lighter and then poke a pencil thru the heated up part.. and it shood be really neat..

How many pencil holes do you think? Should i just make a whole lot of holes or what?

would one or 2 every 5cm be enough?

about 20 holes all up wif the skewer wood be fine.. or 15 wif the pencil.. depends on the size of the lid too..

just heat up an old phillips head screwdriver but beware of the fumes as they are toxic so do it somewhere well ventilated or outdoors.

Here is a genuine "click-clack" container on the left.. I have no trouble just drilling holes in those. Never cracked one yet. Woolworths (and I assume others) have the Sistema brand. They are pretty good too, four clips one on each side. Those will crack if drilled! The other pic with the pink lid I picked up on special at a pet store. The "click-clack" containers are not cheap though, about $24 each from memory. The Sistema are about $11. Of course you can get cheaper ones from Go-Lo etc.

Not the best pic , but it gives you a rough idea how to set one up .
I got those medium tubs ( $3:99) and the big ones ($5:99) from one of those junks shops they are good cause they lock on all four sides .
The sistemas are from woolies
