But if you must use drills get a sharp bit |

| | | | I've drilled the sistema ones without any problem. Use a sharp bit (ie new) and light pressure, too easy. |

| | | | if you have a dremel, they work bloody fantastic. they produce 2mm holes, do so at high speed so you dont crack the plastic, make perfect clean holes and you can use a grinding attachment to clean up the waste etc, so you're pet can rub its little heart out, the container aint gonna hurt it.
on the other hand, if you have a cheap soldering iron (dont use a good one, you'll stuff it) you'll find theres a perfect temperature that will punch a perfect hole, then use pliers to snap off the little rings it produces. (the heat stresses them. you can do it with nails, but you will. not might, will, hurt yourself) |

When we used those click clacks for our snakes when they were hatchies, we just used one of those metal skewers that you use for testing whether meat/cakes etc are cooked. We heated it up with the flame on our gas stove cook top and put heaps of holes in the lid and the sides. A good size as the hatchies can't fit through the skewer holes. Cheers Cheryl

How do you regulate the temperature in a click-clack when using a heatmat? |

| | | Jessie - is that Tupperware?
How big does the click clack have to be?
I think the two I got are a little tall They are both around 20L - one is 28L.
We plan on getting a spotted python and a water python - both as hatchies or juvis. | | | |
