Overcast, little bit of rain, very windy, very cold. But we had a good time at the Australian Reptile Park anyway.

Bryony confused me when she said 'Em! Come in and see the wrapping spider!!!" I really did expect to see a spider that was making a web around itself. Erm.
It was a "Rapping Spider" Yo, wit beats n rhymes fo ma brothas t chill.
STP poked a Kangaroo, yes, I said poked. Beks wants a retic now, and I'd be happy with 1 small Indian Star Tortoys (That's how STP says it)
Shermy kissed a Roo! Truely he did, Bryony got a photo. !!
The girls were watching the people who work there and John Weigel in captivity - behind glass. The baby Blueys and Cunninghams and frogs were in front of the window that looks into the back room. Half watching the creatures and trying to see what reptiles the workers had behind the glass and fantasizing about being one of them. I'm sorry I missed that photo opportunity.
Hix is a hive of information, and I so enjoyed talking about the latin and the origins of some of the reptiles. Hix, and no, I won't begin another 'Chondro' thread lol.
Moth said his favourite part was when they threw the live wallaby with 1 broken leg to the Tassie Devil. I think he's dreamin'.
He was impressed with the members of the "cult, sect, religion" Quote Moth, of ours - -funny man. And their determination through rain and sleet and snow.
His comment "geez it was cool down there." But he said that after we greeted some crotchetty looking character when we 1st entered. lol  Just kiddin' you. We were hyped from a 2+ hour car trip!
lol, We all have a party trick to show you at the next gathering, just bring a funnelweb.
lol.Fun day!
