|  | Regular Member | | | | please help! blue tongue toes my bluey started shedding on sunday, he was going all good until i noticed that there was still some skin around his toes...i tried to rub it gently to see if it would come off but it wouldnt...then i tried soaking it in warm water to soften it and this sort of worked but not properly so i left it over night and tried again today and i got most of the skin off his toes but it looks like it has constricted it a bit wat should i do?
i've attached a photo
the one second from the left is what im worried about its all skiny at the end and the middle toe still has skin on it...i dont want to hurt him by forcing it off? |

Gender:  | | | | How long did you soak him?, he made need to be soaked for an hour for it to soften, best put it in a tub with about 10mm of luke warm water for an hour or so, at this time of year, keep the water warm, then try to rub it off. From the pic though, it doesn't seem to be much old skin there, just around the nail??

|  | Roadkill Subscriber | Join Date: Aug-05 Location: Western Sydney Age/Gender: 25  | | | | Put him in a container with 1cm of lukewarm water in the bottom. Put a lid on the container, ensure there is good ventillation, and just leave him in there for 30 mins.

We did this with ours on the weekend when he shed. Then just rubbed the skin around the toes and tail gently. |
