Possibly Gravid Asper - What do you think???

Hi All

I purchased my Asper pair on the 19th April 06, so have had them almost 7 weeks now. Anyway the 1st & 2nd pics of the female on arrival to me, very thin. The pics after that are currently that same female - but with massive weigh gain - what do you think? Quite frankly I find it very difficult with Asper & Amyae to tell.

Any eggs SHOULD be quite obvious if you look at her belly, their belly skin is very thin and the eggs usually show up well.
She certainly seems very fat, good luck.

The eggs are very easy to see as they are quite large, My amyae laid two a couple of weeks ago and the eggs measured 32mm long, and were easily visible from underneath, not only the white of the egg but also the shape bulgeing out the side as she squirmed in my hand. Good luck with her, she does look alittle tubby and if she isn't gravid she is in prime condition for spring.
