Problem with our little coastal carpet python

Hey all,
I have a coastal carpet hatchie (3months old) who up until about three week's ago was a top little feeder on rats.
He has refused to eat for the past three week's now and he is not showing any sign's of wanting to eat.

What also has us concerned is he is very shiney on his head it look's like he is going to shed however he has had these sign's for the past two week's now.
We are both new to herping so little thing's like this start to concern us.

Any info on this would be great or if there is someone local to toongabbie nsw (near blacktown) who is experienced in coastal carpet python's who would be interested in taking a look for us that would be great...Im contactable on 0403422033 after buisness hour's or im contactable on here anytime..

Scotchbo,
It might be that his enclosure is too dry and that he has some retained slough, this would lead him to have poor vision and stress, it could be enough to stop normal feeding patterns.

This time of the year the air can be quite drying, and you need to increase the humidity in enclosures to compenstate.

Sounds like he will need a good soaking in warm water and then place him back in a slightly more humid enclosure just until he has got his skin off.

If you think it might be something else, then PM me and I will suggest something else.

Cheers Neil

Could be just because it's coming into winter.
