It walks with its stomach completely off the ground. To create an image in your mind it walks like a chameleon or a crocodile running. I'm beginning to worry about it - the other one appears to me fine and walks with their belly slightly off the ground, but it does it the way I imagine they should with the front half of the body raised slighty more then the back.
Can anyone think of a reason for the funny walking? The seller has been nothing but helpful and has offered to sort something out. Either in the way of a trade or refund but I'd rather see what the problem could be before jumping the gun.
Thanks
Sam (Please do not tell me to search the forum - i have but it is too hard to search for a specific topic like this when you consider you would have to type in bearded, dragon and help. To cut to the chase you end up with almost every post ever made on this forum in your search results) |

How old are they? What is their set up like? What are you feeding?
What did the breeder say it could be?

They have a 75 watt heat lamp on during the day. I'm currently feeding them small amounts of crickets and woodies as they are going in to brumation. This behavouir was evident the day i purchased the dragons once they were in the enclosure.
The breeder is unsure of what could be causing this - He has came up with the idea that perhaps it is its tail as it is missing approximently half of it. I think that it is a sound idea but have never heard of this being a problem before. |
