heres my male he's fully grown but his grwth was stunted due to not eating vegies until about the age of 1.5 years, stuborn as an a$$ he cost me a small fortune in crickets as i wasnt allowed to breed, anyway he eats his vegies now and he's ok, not e tip of tail is missing expect there tail to be a lil longer than mine not too much..

ok to give you reletive size, theres a pic of his cage, its 3x2x2 foot, and he's the little chum to the right on the floor, he kept running around so the pics are all in different places..

he loves his luxary apartment, and i do too, by the way try garth and fay, there members here, i got mine from them and hoping on getting some more this year, .. friends if you will..

he like to run around and bask on his slab of sandstone with a heat mat underit, rather than clib, butlots of branches up there is good, the stump to the left is really close to the uvb, he sits up there too, the kings throne

*note* the basking spot needs to be preferably with 10 inches of the uvb, or it with do close to nothign for you lizard, the rays only reach a certain extent after that they deminish..

this is for a 10.0 bulb others replell less, and i dont htink close is a good idea so stick to the 10.0 ones with all beardies as a whole. so no need to get too close, but close enough...

yeah, he is a very good eater.. feeding them 3-4 large roaches twice a week
with greens always available. they also have a very warm basking spot and
a phillips tld blacklight for uvb. i think they are about 6-7mnths old.

he's plump in the stomach but his tail is really thin, i think i remmber rading somehwere on the net, correct me if im wrong, but like bluey they store fat in there tails, and that is how you judge weight rather than a plump instant feed like belly

his tail looks very thin if he's his eating alot, it should even out when he grows full size, they tend to go from the odd big headed looking plump bellied thin tail and legs to looking quite alike the central but like a miny version and still a rather big head, my black soils tails much thicker than that, he should grow into it with enough food..

BEAUTIFUL COLOURS by the way, he looks like a cacti... i'd like some liek that one day...

do you ave any pics of th eenclosure, by the way i hope i havent offended you by the whole stressing on the thin tail thing.. sorry if i have..

oh yeh to answer your wuestion they are not fully grown i'd say a few months off but

ill attach the photo's in the necxt post, its struggling with the amount of text and 5 photos'

in the photos you can see the plump ness at the begining of the tail, it slowely gets thinner towards the end of the tail, in one of these photo's you will see that his head is still consierably large for his body (normal) but the rest of its body has caught up, you will see a basking pose (head in the air, arms almost out straight) body proportions, and you should be able to see the percentage of tail missing, i measure him by snought to vent for this reason, hope there isnt any hard feelign im just worried...
