Have been asked by non member hoe hard it is in Qld to get class 2 restricted license so he can keep more than two snakes, anyone?

Yeah I just got my restricted, it wasn't hard, you pay $153 for the privilege of having more than 2 womas or whatever. I just supplied 2 references from very well respected keepers and it was no problem. It even allows me to keep venomous which I have no interest in.

we only have a recreational and restricted licences here in queensland, no classes or categories. your normal recreational licence lets you keep most things without a restriction on numbers. the exceptions are venomous (can keep none without a restricted amendment on your licence), green tree pythons (can keep two, need an international amendment on your licence to keep anymore) womas (think you can keep two, restricted licence allows you to keep more)

Wouldn't it be nice if one day all the States got together and formed one country, we could call it Straya and we could have a uniform set of rules for the whole country, no import export permits. I know it is a wild dream but who knows, maybe one day.
