Wild water pythons eat geese and even young crocs. Young chicks wouldn't be able to kill a snake

Ok, do what you want but it is your snake at risk. I have given my advice and opinion on the birds which I have owned and bred for several years. Again it is at your risk, but in another post I remember you saying : feeding live animals should definately be a last resort.
And someone else saying:
They can bite your reptile which can cause mouth rot and someone lost their snake due to that.
Goodluck, gg

no wonder u find it hard to breed em belinda....it would be a bit easier having 7 females and 1 male. Ours used to breed like flies before they all got cooked during the 2001 christmas bushfires.
Once our male was killing the babies so i cought the hatchling before he did...Bob was so cool, he though i was his mum so he followed me everywhere and slept in my room and stuff.

Belinda you seem to think that snakes are weak little animals that need all our help just to live.
I've seen big quails and IMO there is no way in hell that could take a bite out of an adult snake or do any kind of injury.
I had a snake in the past that would only feed on live prey and in two years of feeding didn't get a scratch on him.
Anyone knows that you should always watch your snake when using live food, unless it's a pinkie or something.
Like i've said in the past, snakes are not babies, they can look after themselves.

Ackie...I used to have 12 females...They died of stress or age ( they dont live long) and the babies were constantly getting rejected, thus no more females were being produced.
P.S I agree with RR. They breed about 2-3 times a year and about 4-5 eggs hatch. The most I have ever had hatch is 7 but some do not make it.
