We decided to offer our new coastal a couple of pinkie rats,she took them no problem.

i didn't rip the legs off, they'd broken off when it was frozen.

I know how you feel, I once made the mistake of washing some pinkies before freezing them. They froze into a big ball and every time I removed one, arms, legs, tails and all sorts of bits broke off.

cris, that looks just like a Resun rock I bought the other day (for my beardies, quite cheap too) and it says that its in built thermostat doesn't allow it to get above 26c, which is a few degrees too cool I think, but it could be quite suitable for snakes, I don't think you will have any problems with it overheating.

That is exactly the heat rock in the enclosure. Hope it is ok.
