This is the rack I built, it will hold 4 females for each tub with a male cycled through. I started with 4 females and one male and now the whole rack is full. I am builing another this week end as it is producing very well.

and the bathtub, currently used for growing out the rest of my female breeders but once I have the rack, this will be for growing feeders.



The mice rack is going to be made up of 5 (70cm x 50cm) tubs. Three will have a 1.6 ratio, and two will be used for growing out.

The rat rack will be using the same tubs, but 10 of them. Each will have a two females, with the males cycling through then going back into their tank.

Hey dude, yeah i have a mouse rack and i find it works so much better for me then lab cages when breeding in larger numbers. I am going to be building a rat rack for my self soon and get rid of all the lab cages. Rat rack will be 3 wide 5 high of those concrete mixing tubs. Then make another rack with smaller tubs most likely 4 wide 5 high where 2 mums will go into each of those to have there babies.
