Visit Facebook Profile
About a 2 foot tank would be ok, 3 would be better.

I would go a 2ftx2ftx2ft enclosure. Thats what mine will be put in. The dont climb much so you dont wvwn have to go 2ft high if you dont want to.

Oh no thats ok, I dont mind it being a little bit higher, Might give the snake something to do when its exploring. But i might have to get a larger tank anyway, dnt think 600mm x 250mm is big enough. Max length i can fit on my bench is 1 meter

If your getting a hatchling then 600by250 would be fine for 12-18 months

I use a 900 x 500 x 500 enclsoure for my macs, stimis and childrens. (not all in one) but i got them all the same size so that they would stack easy.

Do you want it in wood or in glass. The reptapet enclosures are flat packed and come fully wired. they are great.

Cheers

yeah 1 meter is plenty of room, that perticular breed of snake from memory is more of a ground dweller than a climber so more ground space than hight is the go.

Sorry i measured my tank wrong lol! meant 60cm x 25cm .. Def need to get a bigger one.

Would 1 meter x 25cm be ok for a full size? or go wider about to 35/40ish ?

yeah probably a little thin, as allana said, they are a predominantly a ground dweller, they will climb but be good to have a bit more floor space

Ok I might go and get a custom made tank built for me, 1 meter x 40cm/50 cm would be good? (50cm is max cuz thats all the room ive got on the bench) 50cm should be enough room for it? not entirly 2ft x 2ft but should be enough for it to move around and do its thing.

The thing at the end of the day is that in a couple of years if the tank seem's to small you can alwasy get another, are you getting a baby or a adult.
